Hi! I’m Liz Ridley.

A thoughtful graphic and UX designer with a knack for quirky illustrations, funky typography, and executing what look and feel your unique audience is calling for.

I graduated this past June, 2025 from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, with a B.F.A. in Art and Design, Graphic Design concentration. Before graduating, I worked as a Graphic Designer for Cal Poly’s Associated Students Inc, branding student events, experiences, and announcements through print and social media graphics, digital materials, specialty prints, and more. I also worked as a Senior Graphic Designer for Mustang News, Cal Poly’s student-led newspaper, designing printed newspaper layouts and web/social media graphics for Cal Poly and San Luis Obispo’s diverse community.

I started my graphic design journey in 2021 as an oil painter turned Adobe fanatic in just 4 quick years. Through lots of self-doubt and hours spent on the simplest processes… here we are, today. I credit this studio art background with my ability to adapt styles depending on what a project calls for.

A little more about me: I was born and raised in the city of San Francisco and hope to move back after college, but this time as a grown-up artist/professional designer (see right). When I’m not staring at an artboard, you can find me playing beach volleyball, watching a documentary, reorganizing something in my house, or chasing my doodle Lola around (see right, again).

Check out my resume here.
