About Me!
Hey there!👋 My name is Liz Ridley, a 2025 graduate of Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, with a B.F.A. in Graphic Design. I currently work as a Design Intern for the lovely folks at Plaid Again Creative Co. based in the San Francisco Bay Area, while continuing working with additional contract and freelance clients. Previously, I worked as a graphic designer for Cal Poly’s Associated Students Incorporated, branding student events and experiences across print, web, social media, merchandise, and installations. I also served as senior graphic designer for Mustang News, designing layouts and graphics for Cal Poly and the broader San Luis Obispo community.
My design journey began in 2021—as an oil painter turned Adobe fanatic in just 4 quick years of failing and try, try, trying again. This fine art foundation still shapes my ability to adapt styles based on each project’s needs.
I was born and raised in San Francisco and am currently located back in the city (this time as a grown-up artist). When I am not staring at an artboard, you can find me playing beach volleyball, watching a documentary, organizing something, or chasing my doodle, Lola around:)
